Upload attachments

You can upload more attachments with ability to select Jira Issue by this component. Content Image

Also there is the ability to add ‘Attachments’ directly on the ‘New Jira Issue’ screen.

You should only add the ‘Attachment’ field to Issue Type you need. Content Image

Custom Jira Admin Attachments Settings

 

  • Navigate to Setup / Custom Settings.
  • Click ‘Manage’ next to ‘Jira Admin Settings’.

  • Check checkboxes:
    • Sync Case Attachments.
    • Sync Attachment From Jira To Salesforce.

 

The steps will allow you to pull Jira Issue attachments from Jira to Salesforce on the Page load and enable 2-way sync for attachments .

Control Public or Internal Attachments

Visibility of Attachments can be controlled in the Peeklogic Jira Attachments component for Internal and External users. Enable the ‘Control whether attachments are available to internal users or customers users’ checkbox in Lightning App Builder.

Use the ‘Change Visibility’ button for controlling.

Select necessary attachments and click the needed button:

  • Updates To Customer Access – allow to see selected attachments to Internal and External customers;
  • Update To Internal Access –  allow to see selected attachments only to Internal customers.

Via  the ‘Change Visibility’ button you have the ability to check visibility of all uploaded attachments according to column Visibility.
