Custom Jira Admin Comment Settings
In Salesforce, follow these steps:
- Open ‘Setup’;
- Locate ‘Custom Settings’;
- Click on ‘Manage’ next to ‘Jira Admin Settings’.
There are so many configurations, let’s review for comments:
- Save Jira Comment as CaseComment – save comments that are synced from Jira into CaseComments in Salesforce.
- Mention Users (Notification) All – notify tagged Salesforce user in Jira comment, even Jira Issue is not associated with Salesforce record.
- Save Public Jira Notes as Case Comments – save public comments that are synced from Jira into CaseComments in Salesforce.
- Mention Users (Notification) Only Linked – notify tagged Salesforce user in Jira comment if current Jira Issue is associated with Salesforce records.
