Custom Jira Admin Settings

Navigate to Custom Settings -> Jira Admin Settings.

Click on ‘Manage’.

  • Jira search for user picker fields – find users in Jira.
  • Save Jira Comment as CaseComment – save comments that are synced from Jira into CaseComments in Salesforce.
  • Sync Case Attachments – enables Case Attachments synchronization.
  • Many To Many Issue Relationships – In case your business case allows you to have the same Jira Issue related to multiple Salesforce Cases or other object’s records, here are steps to enable Many-to-many relationships.
  • OrganizationId – In case you are using Tempo integration.
  • Mention Users (Notification) All – notify tagged Salesforce user in Jira comment, even Jira Issue is not associated with Salesforce record.
  • Enable Case Feeds Sync – CaseFeeds synchronization.
  • Jira Server platform – In case you are using Jira Server integration.
  • Save Public Jira Notes as Case Comments – save public comments that are synced from Jira into CaseComments in Salesforce.
  • Sync Attachment From Jira To Salesforce – enables synchronization of attachments from Jira to Salesforce.
  • Sync ‘Jira Issue’ associated with an SF / Disable Issue Links Synchronization –  enables creating in Peeklogic Jira Issue object records that are linked to Salesforce Records.
  • Mention Users (Notification) Only Linked –  notify tagged Salesforce user in Jira comment if current Jira Issue is associated with Salesforce records.
  • Display Username In Comment Header – when enabled, comments created in Salesforce are displayed with a header that includes the Salesforce user’s name.
  • Add Jira Username To Comment Header – when enabled, comments created in Jira are displayed with a header that includes the Jira user’s name.
  • Sync Only Public JSM Comments – when enabled, only public JSM comments are synchronized. Internal/private comments in Jira will not appear in Salesforce.
  • Make Jira Comments Internal Only – when enabled, all Jira comments in Chatter will be visible only to internal users. Community/portal users will not be able to see them.

You can translate your Salesforce and Jira integration to any language with the help of Peeklogic Jira Connector.

Navigate to Setup / Custom Labels / Find labels you’d like to translate.

Click ‘Add Translation’ for your Salesforce and Jira Integration.

Navigate to the Salesforce record to see if translation is applied.

It may take a few minutes for translation to become visible, and you may need to clear your browser’s cache.
