Enable Real Time Sync for Atlassian Jira Service Desk Project Type

Peeklogic Salesforce Connector released at Atlassian Marketplace was created to allow you to sync Jira Issues from Jira to Salesforce in Real time. Please refer to the following manual on steps on how to install the app from Atlassian Marketplace:

Enable Real Time Sync from Jira to Salesforce

There are additional steps to enable Real Time sync for Jira Projects of Service Desk Type:

 

Open Project in Jira and click ‘Project Settings’ at the bottom of the left sidebar

Click ‘Permissions’ on the left sidebar

Click ‘Edit Permissions’ on Top Right Side

Click ‘Edit’ next to ‘Browse Projects’

Click ‘Application Access’ and select ‘Jira Core’ / Grant

After this step is completed, you may test Creating and Updating Jira issues on Jira side within the Service Desk Project, and see them created and updated in Real Time in Salesforce from Jira
