Salesforce configuration guide

 

After first installing the package need to be set next variables generated in the previous step which will allow our app to connect to your NetSuite environment:

  • Consumer Key 
  • Consumer Secret 
  • Token Id 
  • Token Secret 
  • Account Id

Click the “Setup Connection” section in the Setup tab.

Provide required information and click save.

Also, we need to create 2 remote site settings.

In the Salesforce setup Security->Remote site settings
need to be created 2 records where ACCOUNT_ID is Your account ID.

Now we need to configure the connection from NetSuite to Salesforce

1. Navigate back to NetSuite.

2. Navigate to the “Salesforce Connector” tab

3. Click the ‘Set Up Connector’ button.

We need to configure a connected app on Salesforce that will allow us to talk back to Salesforce.

1. From Setup, enter External Client Apps in the Quick Find box, and then select Settings.

2. Turn on Allow creation of connected apps.

3. To create a connected app, select New Connected App.

4. Checkbox Enable OAuth Settings should be checked. All other checkboxes should be unchecked !!!.

5. Past Redirect URL in Callback URL field

6. Selected OAuth Scopes – Full access (full), Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)

7. Save the Connected App.

After you save the connected app click the “Manage Customer Details” button.

Copy Consumer Key and Secret to use in the next step.

Paste the client ID/secret to the NetSuite from Salesforce, then click the ‘Save and Login’ button.
