1.3 Permissions (Admin vs Standard User)
The package includes two permission sets, intended for different roles:
- Admin / Setup user: Azure DevOps Full access
- Standard user: Azure Devops User
Assign Azure Devops Full access to users who will:
- Configure the integration (Setup pages, connections, org/project setup)
- Manage mappings/layouts/configuration records
- Troubleshoot (view integration errors, manage configuration)
Assign Azure Devops User to users who will:
- Use the integration day-to-day (view/create/update linked Azure DevOps work items from Salesforce)
Work with related work item components on records
These users should not manage setup/configuration.
